Here's the thing - people might think that it's cheap since you can get 3 for $10 CAD. But the truth is that the bottles are a lot smaller than other brands you might find out there. So in reality, the price of Joe Fresh nailpolish (ml for ml) is actually the same as that of high end brands like OPI and China Glaze (Yes I did the math lol).
I love them all but my favourite colour is Coral.

I too love Joe Fresh! Thanks for introducing me to them :) I agree, they are super great quality, they dont chip until after a week, and the colour selection is just amazing! I can't believe I spent lots of money on other nailpolishes before where I can get 3 for the same price. Right now I'm wearing the colour Bloom :)
ReplyDeleteI love them too! I wanted to test one to see how it stays on and let me tell you i applied two coats and NO top coat and went to work for 5 days it barely budged!!! Great stuff. Another ones i really love are by Faces.
ReplyDeleteThose ones are great too. Right now they have a limited edition collection of 4 and i bought the blue one in Couture and wow it is simply amazing. The colour is out of this world and i haven't seen anything similar around. At $5 it's a steal! :-)))
p.s. here's the link. The one i bought is first one from the left. I want to get the silvery one and the lavender one too! It says they're $9 but i know i paid $5 for each. Weird. ReplyDeleteWhat do you think of the new trend of UV nail polish? I recently had it done before going away on vacation - it lasted for 3 weeks and looked great! But, I'm concerned its not good for my nails and that I really shouln't be doing it. Is it worse then getting gel nails? And is there any risk from having your hands under the UV light??
ReplyDelete@ sarah: I know we share the same passion for joe fresh nailpolishes lol. Actually I just did my nails and since the weather is pretty bad and gloomy I decided to revert back to the fall colours and I chose a dark brown shade called Espresso. But I cant wait for the summer so I can bust out Papaya and Crush and the bright pink that I can't remember the name of :)
ReplyDelete@ Mirjana: I've never before tried Faces nailpolishes. Honestly the only thing I did try were their eyeshadows and now that I think of it they were actually pretty good. I just might have to venture to the mall this week and pick up a few shadows and nailpolishes (for the record I really don't need either but oh well haha)
ReplyDelete@ Lisette: Yep I've seen those and they are pretty much the same thing that biogel was. It's still somewhat bad for your nails, but not as bad as acrylic and gel. And sadly yes, the UV is bad for you no matter how short the exposure. But on a bright side, you can have a great manicure AND tanned hands lol :) I will try these out. I know they were selling them at Beauticians when I was there with my sister, but I don't have a UV lamp at home so I didn't buy them. But I was very intrigued so I might get it done to see what it's all about
